Qualifications

• Working knowledge of public assistance policy, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to conduct full eligibility interviews for SNAP, TANF and Medicaid.
• Ability to identify problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions.
• Experience with data matching and data review in eligibility contexts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to handle multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.
• No degree required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Review eligibility recommendations and information from contract staff.
• Make eligibility determinations for benefits and waivers per rules.
• Examine data matches to find inconsistencies or missing data.
• Approve contractor-calculated claims.
• Conduct full eligibility interviews for SNAP, TANF, Medicaid.
