Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Program Assistant in Hawaii for the Independent Living, Higher Education, Imua Kakou (IHI) program. Qualifications

• One year job-related experience required.
• Valid Hawaii driver’s license is necessary.
• Valid TB and medical clearance needed.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Background clearances from DHS, FBI/Criminal History & CAN, and Salvation Army are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Specialists and professional staff by providing outreach and services to youth and families.
• Assist in maintaining reports and case file documentation.
• Provide clerical support including ordering supplies and managing program files.
• Greet walk-in clients and assist them upon arrival.
• Perform light bookkeeping and office housekeeping tasks.
