Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy professional to provide clinical patient care, progress treatments, and maintain accurate documentation. The role emphasizes adherence to productivity standards and family/patient instruction while collaborating with other healthcare staff.

The position requires strong communication skills, ability to interpret clinical information, and commitment to ongoing professional development through CE activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients and families.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Basic computer knowledge for data input and reporting.
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Effective reasoning ability and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical patient care by initiating and administering appropriate treatment, progressing patient treatment as appropriate, and carrying patient load that reflects productivity standards.
• Evaluates patients accurately, plans appropriate treatment, sets and meets functional goals, and revises and progresses treatment program as goals are met.
• Maintains appropriate treatment records and completes accurate daily patient charges. Completes patient records in a timely manner.
• Maintains technical expertise through attendance and participation in continuing education activities and departmental in-services.
• Provides instruction to patients and/or family members, as well as other healthcare providers.
• Follows care path guidelines for patient/family education and documentation of home programs.
• Schedules and prioritizes daily work assignments and delegates patients to RPTA or other support personnel as appropriate.
• Assists with P.T. observers, volunteers, and students as requested by the in-charge therapist.
• Assists with training of new P.T. employees.
