Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages in a comprehensive care setting. You will modify care plans as needed, serve as a clinical resource for staff, and deliver education to patients and families.

A sign-on bonus is offered for new grads and for those with experience, with relocation available if moving 50+ miles. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and an active PT license, plus BLS within 30 days and ongoing

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
Continuing education for acute stroke care

Responsibilities

Demonstrates ability to perform patient transfers with assistive devices and body mechanics to reduce risk of injury.
Educates patients, families, and staff using effective teaching methods.
Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes of care.
Performs examination with reliable methods relevant to chief complaint and history.
Maintains documentation per CTSCP67 policy.
Evaluates patients impairments related to orthopedic and neurologic conditions.
Establishes a plan of care based on functional deficits and patient goals.
Completes objective testing for ROM, strength, and functional tasks.
