University Orthopedic Care is seeking a Surgical Coordinator to support scheduling and care coordination for orthopedic surgeries. Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and complete a level II background screening with AHCA
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain patient confidentiality
• Strong communication skills for patient interactions
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and orthopedics is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating physician surgery schedule and patient flow
• Serve as liaison with patients, physicians, and insurance for pre- and post-operative care
• Prepare authorization documentation and ensure required criteria are met
• Coordinate pre-operative clearance with third-party providers
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct
