Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years materials management experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of materials management processes and procedures.
• Advanced computer proficiency and planning systems such as Tranks4M.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the Materials team, ensuring training and performance objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, including delivery improvement initiatives.
• Oversee material planning and procurement activities to ensure timely availability.
• Utilize MRP and RPS systems to analyze demand and maintain planning parameters.
• Coordinate production scheduling and logistics to support JIT production requirements.
• Support engineering changes and program management activities to meet schedules.
• Manage inventory and resolve materials-related issues, including expedites and obsolescence.
