Job summary

Small Parts, Inc. is seeking a Materials & Planning Manager to lead material planning, inventory management, and production scheduling across locations.

You will coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Suppliers to ensure material availability and delivery performance while optimizing inventory investment. You will lead a team of planners, translate demand into procurement and production plans, and drive improvements in material flow and supply continuity, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• 5–8 years of related experience and/or training.
• 2+ years supervising or leading a team.
• Experience with Plex ERP or similar MRP/ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting.
• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of material planners for procurement and scheduling.
• Coordinate Purchasing, Inbound Logistics, and production scheduling.
• Translate demand into material plans and manage inventory levels.
• Monitor schedule attainment and analyze root causes of misses.
• Drive continuous improvement in inventory, flow, and delivery.
• Support customer service with supply continuity and escalation.
