Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Senior Materials Analyst at our Rushville, IN location. You will coordinate and expedite purchases, manage MRP and Kanban-driven improvements to meet production targets, and develop dashboards to prevent interruptions. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years in materials and strong Excel/Power BI skills.

You will work with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle), lean practices, and travel up to 5% as needed. Copeland emphasizes inclusion and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3–5 years of materials experience.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables) and Power BI.
• Experience with ERP and MRP; Oracle.
• Lean tools such as Kanban pull systems and demand-driven supply chain.
• Travel up to 5% of the time.
• US work authorization with no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop process improvement projects for kanban pull systems to meet production and inventory targets.
• Manage MRP to ensure timely receipt of materials to meet production schedules.
• Track the progress of materials and expedite as required.
• Develop and maintain autonomous reporting dashboard for 'clear to build' window to prevent production interruptions.
• Manage inventory levels to meet both inventory and production goals.
