Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Materials Manager in Rushville, IN to own end-to-end materials execution and align demand, supply, and capacity. You will drive S&OE, manage constraints, and partner across Sales, Production, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure on-time material availability.

Expect leadership of planning processes, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 7+ years of experience in materials management, supply planning, or production control.
• Demonstrated leadership of S&OE/SIOP processes and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the S&OE process and translate plans into executable supply actions.
• Facilitate weekly S&OE meetings to resolve demand-supply imbalances.
• Own exception management and rapid decision-making to meet targets.
• Provide clear supply commit dates and recovery plans for at-risk orders.
• Balance service, inventory and cost through inventory strategies and ERP parameters.
• Identify and mitigate material constraints and supplier risks.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Production, Procurement, Logistics and Finance.
• Communicate risks and impacts to stakeholders with clarity and urgency.
• Use data and scenario analysis to drive execution decisions and continuous improvement.
