Arizona Department of Child Safety is seeking a Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist to respond to allegations, interview families, and assess child safety in Mesa, Queen Creek and surrounding areas. You will coordinate services, develop case plans, and participate in court hearings to advocate for children’s well-being.

The role requires a degree or equivalent experience, a valid driver’s license, and successful completion of a 22-week training program.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree earned from an accredited institution OR 4 years as a DCS Case Aide.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory 39 month driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Work history, Central Registry and Public Record will be considered.
• Complete 22 weeks of in-person classroom and field training.

Responsabilidades

• Work full-time, 40 hours a week on-site; alternative hours may be required.
• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety.
• Work with families in their homes and in the community.
• Coordinate services and develop case plans.
• Attend court hearings and prepare professional reports.
• Transport children and support placement needs.
• Manage cases in your assigned region.
• Collaborate with courts, providers, and partner agencies.
