Job summary

Arizona Department of Child Safety is hiring Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist in Bullhead City and surrounding areas. The role conducts interviews, assesses child safety, coordinates services, and supports families in their homes and communities.

Training provided, with salary ongoing as you progress through the steps. The position requires a degree or equivalent experience, valid driver's license, and successful completion of a 22-week training program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree earned from an accredited institution or 4 years as a DCS Case Aide.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Work history, Central Registry and Public Record considered.
• Complete 22 weeks of in-person classroom and field training.

Responsibilities

• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety.
• Work with families in homes and communities.
• Coordinate services and develop case plans.
• Attend court hearings and prepare reports.
