Job summary

The State of Arizona’s Department of Child Safety is hiring a Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist in Safford to safeguard children and support families. On-site, full-time 40 hours weekly, you’ll respond to allegations, interview families, assess safety, coordinate services, and prepare court reports.

Training with step increases is provided, along with comprehensive benefits. Applicants must have a relevant degree or experience, a valid driver’s license, and pass fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or 4 years as DCS Case Aide.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety.
• Coordinate services and develop case plans.
• Attend court hearings and prepare reports.
• Transport children and support placements.
