Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution or 4 years as a DCS Case Aide.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Successful completion of the 22-week training program.
• Experience with Central Registry and Public Records will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety.
• Work with families in homes and community.
• Coordinate services and develop case plans.
• Attend court hearings and prepare reports.
• Transport children and support placement needs.
• Manage cases within assigned region.
• Collaborate with courts, providers, and partner agencies.
