Job summary

Arizona Department of Child Safety is hiring a Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist in Arizona. The role works on-site, serving Avondale, Glendale, Peoria and Phoenix with 40 hours a week and potential alternative hours.

You will respond to child abuse/neglect allegations, interview families, assess safety, and coordinate services with court and community partners. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or 4 years as a DCS Case Aide), a valid driver’s license, fingerprint

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or 4 years as DCS Case Aide.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory 39 month driving record.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Complete 22 weeks of in-person training.

Responsibilities

• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety.
• Work with families in homes and in the community.
• Coordinate services and develop case plans.
• Attend court hearings and prepare professional reports.
