Qualifications

• Four years of experience in interviewing or work requiring the analysis and interpretation of data.
• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Educational requirements may be met within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Responsibilities

• Eligibility review for programs such as financial assistance, Medicaid, SNAP, LIHEAP, Nursing Home Care, and Waivers.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews to gather information and understand customer circumstances.
• Interpret and apply state and federal regulations to ensure accurate case decisions.
• Enter information into automated systems and perform manual calculations for case processing.
• Write clear and thorough case comments to record changes and document decisions.
• Complete all assigned work within required timeframes and established procedures.
