Qualifications

• Four years of experience in interviewing or analyzing data.
• A bachelor's degree.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Applicants may complete education requirements within 3 months of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate applications to determine eligibility for programs like financial assistance, Medicaid, SNAP, LIHEAP, Nursing Home Care, and Waivers.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews to gather information and assess client circumstances.
• Interpret and apply state and federal regulations to ensure accurate case decisions.
• Enter data into automated systems and perform manual calculations for case processing.
• Write clear case comments documenting changes and decisions.
• Complete all tasks within required timeframes and procedures.
