Qualifications

• Four years of experience in interviewing or work requiring the analysis and interpretation of data.
• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Interviews customers by phone to gather information for case actions.
• Reviews and applies policy to determine eligibility for financial assistance, Medicaid, SNAP, LIHEAP, waivers and other programs.
• Enters information into automated systems and completes manual calculations.
• Types clear case comments describing customer circumstances and changes.
• Applies federal and state regulations while meeting deadlines.
• Interprets policies to ensure correct processing of cases.
