Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking an IEP Specialist to work with the Director and resource team to coordinate and evaluate the educational program. The role includes mentoring classroom staff, collaborating with departments, and helping recruit and onboard new staff.

The position emphasizes supporting students with academic, emotional, social, and behavioral needs, utilizing SESI’s instructional models and data-driven planning to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current SPED Teaching license.
• Experience with similar population in a school setting preferred.
• Experience coaching staff.
• Strong professional communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to record and analyze data using Excel and Google Drive.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, assess needs and determine student placement for special education programs.
• Assist Principal with recruiting and onboarding campus staff.
• Develop and implement transition planning and services (Indicator 13).
• Maintain IEP database and student files.
• Prepare and attend IEP meetings and ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
