Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a dedicated special education teacher to support K-12 students who require additional supports in diverse education settings. You will collaborate with school teams and families to deliver SESI’s evidence-based methods.

You’ll develop IEPs, utilize CASE PBIS, and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive learning environment while advancing professional growth across SESI’s nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models, strategies, and curricula to teach knowledge and skills.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation techniques and safety measures.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high-risk forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise and monitor students within the school.
