Job summary

Agate Housing in Minneapolis is seeking an HR Generalist to help grow a mission-driven team that serves adults and children experiencing homelessness. You will own recruitment and onboarding while gradually expanding your HR responsibilities across performance management, compliance, and employee relations.

Your work will directly impact the experience of employees and the communities we serve, with a focus on building welcoming onboarding processes, accurate records, and compliant HR practices

Qualifications

• BS/BA in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience with full-cycle recruitment and onboarding.
• Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, leave administration, and payroll support.
• Support employee relations and onboarding experiences for a diverse workforce.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements.
