Lafayette Habitat for Humanity in Lafayette, LA seeks a Repair Program Coordinator to coordinate owner-occupied home repair projects under the Critical Home Repair and Healthy Homes programs, focusing in Lafayette’s urban core. You will guide applicants from intake to completion, ensuring understanding, timely communication, and respectful service.

• High School or GED diploma; post-secondary education in construction management, housing, or related field preferred.
• Five+ years of related work experience in housing, grant program administration, or project management.
• Experience with document compliance and audit-ready files meeting funder requirements.
• Strong file organization skills; Microsoft Teams/SharePoint experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Able to work weekends and evenings on occasion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary LHFH contact for all home repair clients from intake to completion.
• Communicate information about repair programs to partners and organize community meetings.
• Regularly update applicants on the status of their application.
• Coordinate with the Repair Program Manager for environmental reviews, assessments, inspections, and final scope agreements.
• Troubleshoot issues during the repair process with the team.
• Collect photos and homeowner stories for client files.
• Conduct final walk-throughs and connect homeowners with additional resources.
