Job summary

Home Repairs for Good is a Indianapolis-based nonprofit that helps older adults and people with disabilities live independently by providing no-cost home repairs. The Program Manager will oversee planning, execution, coordination and communication for the Home Repair Program, ensuring high-quality work and a positive volunteer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, home renovation, or adjacent field.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain documentation, costs and scope.
• Comfort using a computer—CRM system and Google Workspace.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assess incoming home repair projects—in intake or on-site.
• Recruit and build lasting relationships with subcontractors and volunteers.
• Call or visit clients to discuss scope of work and timelines; communicate changes.
• Assist in assigning, planning and prepping repair projects with teams.
• Call and assign projects to subcontractors, volunteers, or team members.
• Think creatively to accomplish repair goals and stretch dollars.
• Lead large group projects outdoors for 6–8 hours when necessary.
