Job summary

Amedisys is offering a part-time PTA role in Charlotte, NC, delivering home health physical therapy under supervision. You will document patient progress, contribute to treatment plans, and support preventive wellness initiatives in patients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a PTA in the assigned state.
• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• One year PTA experience in home health or equivalent preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under direction of a supervising PT.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Promote wellness and prevention through patient education.
• Document supervisory activities in patient records.
• Monitor and document patient responses to interventions.
• Participate in care conferences, trainings, and quality improvement activities.
