Centralia Assured Home Health, part of the LHC Group and Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform treatment and educate patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in a home health setting.

You will follow the plan of care, instruct patients in exercises, monitor progress, and coordinate care with the care team. This role offers a full-time schedule and competitive compensation in Washington state.

Qualifikationen

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of Washington.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.

Aufgaben

• Follow all state laws governing the provision of physical therapy in home care, and follow the treatment set by the supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, and prosthetic training.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses and changes to the supervising PT and care team.
• Instructs patient, family, and health care team in therapy within PTA scope.
