Job summary

Mountlake Terrace Assured Home Health, part of the LHC Group and under the Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington state to provide therapy services per the plan of care. You will work under a supervising PT to deliver high-quality home health care to patients in home settings.

This role includes patient education, documentation, and collaboration with the care team, with a compensation structure described in the Pay Range.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of Washington
• Current CPR certification
• Available to work a weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and the plan of care defined by the supervising PT
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, transfers, and safety
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and care team
• Educate patient, family, and care team on therapy activities within PTA scope
