Job summary

Mountlake Terrace Assured Home Health, part of LHC Group and the Optum family, is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington. You will perform treatment, provide exercise instruction, and patient education per the established plan of care.

Responsibilities include following Washington state PT laws, aiding patients with exercises, coordinating with the care team, and training patients and families. Weekend rotation and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in Washington state.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and work under the supervising Physical Therapist to implement the plan of care.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility.
• Observe and report patient response, coordinating care with the health care team.
