Amedisys, a leading home health and hospice provider, seeks a Nurse Practitioner for PRN work in the Nashville area. The role focuses on high-quality, compassionate care delivered in patients’ homes, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth.

The position offers an hourly pay of $60 and benefits including medical plans, PTO, wellness rewards, and retirement options. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage symptoms and support patients and families at home.

Formación

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year NP experience or hospice RN experience in the last 3 years.
• Must have Medicare billing privileges as an NP.
• Must meet state-mandated NP collaborative requirements with a physician.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate significant findings and changes in patient condition to the clinical team.
• Conduct face-to-face encounters assessing disease progression, function, and quality of life.
• Order and review labs, imaging, and other diagnostics; document and discuss results with the physician.
• Make referrals to other disciplines as needed to address patient care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences.
