Finger Lakes Community College is seeking an IT A/V Services Technician to support instructional technology in labs and classrooms. The role includes direct user support, training, and event assistance, with a focus on maintaining classroom tech and peripherals.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience with classroom technology and applications desirable.
• Experience with presentation software and A/V equipment, plus supporting and training staff.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain functionality of instructional technology in labs and classrooms.
• Assess faculty software needs; test software installations and loads.
• Plan, install, and maintain instructional technology systems across campus.
• Provide helpdesk coverage and direct user support institution-wide.
• Train users and provide one-on-one consultations as needed.
• Support IT for special events and presentations with audio/visual tech.
• Offer after-hours instructional services for campus events.
• Assist deployment of new technologies and hardware/software upgrades.
• Supervise student aides and create IT user documentation.
• Assist with inventory, licensing, purchasing, and supplies.
