Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for the Head & Neck service. The role involves evaluation, treatment planning, and management across disease stages, with supervision and mentorship of clinical staff.

Starting salaries depend on grade with a base of $126,102 for AP Provider I and $138,732 for AP Provider II, including benefits. NY licensure and ACLS are required within six months.

Qualifications

• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
• Current New York State Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Certification or eligibility for certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a national board.
• Master’s or higher degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and manage acute and chronic illness.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and provide ongoing care throughout the patient journey.
• Educate and mentor clinical staff including nurses, residents, and fellows.
