Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider II for the Assessment & Treatment Center. This part-time, 0.5 FTE role provides evaluation, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illness, orders and interprets tests, develops treatment plans, and prescribes medications.

The position requires NY licensure as an NP or PA, relevant NP/PA board certification, a master’s degree in nursing or PA studies, and ACLS certification within six months of appointment.

Qualifications

• Requires NY licensure as RN and NP PA certifications
• Master’s or higher degree in Nursing or PA studies as appropriate
• ACLS certification within six months of appointment
• Minimum demonstrated experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a relevant setting

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses in patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and provide ongoing care throughout the medical journey
• Educate and mentor AP Provider I and clinical staff including nurses, residents, fellows, and students
