Job summary

The American Heart Association in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Development Coordinator to support data entry and administrative tasks for core fundraising events, including database management across Luminate/TeamRaiser, Greater Giving, GiveSmart and Tableau. You will work with the fundraising team to ensure accurate data and timely reporting.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years in administrative and database management or nonprofit setting.
• Proficient with MS Office; strong data entry and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data accuracy across fundraising systems (Luminate/TeamRaiser, Greater Giving, GiveSmart, Tableau).
• Prepare and share data quality reports in Salesforce.
• Generate reports using application system reports.
• Provide customer service for software corrections and receipts.
• Travel periodically with some evenings/weekends.
• Collaborate with Regional Senior Director and fundraising team for Birmingham and Northern Alabama.
