Job summary

The American Heart Association is offering an internship on our Development Operations Fundraising Systems Team, supporting Heart Challenge, Go Red, and Heart Ball events. This role provides hands-on experience with fundraising technology, data management, and nonprofit operations while supporting fundraising initiatives across the region.

Ideal candidates are current college seniors or recent graduates studying Business, Nonprofit Management, or Event Management, with strong data-entry skills,

Qualifications

Current college senior or recent graduate in a related field preferred.
Strong data-entry and data-management experience.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Learn fundraising platforms like Luminate and Givergy and other systems.
Perform timely data entry, record maintenance, and database updates.
Monitor team email inbox and route/respond to requests promptly.
Review pre-event requests for completeness and forward for processing.
Participate in pre-event planning and team calls for exposure to operations.
