Qualifikationen

• DoD Top Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite and FOIAXpress.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act, the Privacy Act and the nine FOIA exemptions.
• Experience drafting correspondence and communicating effectively with requesters.
• Possess strong analytical skills, reading comprehension, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, work with little to no supervision, and adjust to established work patterns and processes as required.

• Implement statutory and policy directives to disclose information while protecting, where required, sensitive data.
• Process FOIA and Privacy Act requests in accordance with applicable statutes and DoD directives.
• Review documents to determine releasability and determine classification markings.
• Compose response letters and negotiate with submitters and requestors as needed.
• Coordinate with program offices to locate responsive documents and conduct searches.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and processing of classified material at all times.
