Job summary

QualX Corporation is seeking an Information Management professional to support declassification and records management for a government program. This full-time role requires careful analysis, strict handling of sensitive materials, and adherence to security protocols.

You will perform reviews, apply EO 13526 guidelines, maintain document integrity, and coordinate with government staff. A minimum of 2 years in military or related field, or a relevant degree, is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of military experience.
• Alternatively 2+ years in Army records management, declassification, FOIA, or privacy.
• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree from an accredited institution.
• Knowledgeable of records management and/or declassification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial declassification reviews for a government agency.
• Analyze unclassified/classified documents per EO 13526.
• Demonstrate understanding of document markings.
• Use analytical skills to decide on release, referrals, or exemptions.
• Recognize possible nuclear weapons/intelligence information.
• Handle boxes/documents (15–25 lbs) while preserving integrity.
• Perform reviews using declassification process, guides, and data management system.
• Experience with classified projects and safeguarding records.
• Interact with government staff and provide feedback to others.
