Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is hiring an Eligibility Advisor I for a temporary role in Graham, TX. The position involves interviewing applicants, evaluating data for eligibility, and computing benefits across SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of customer service experience is required.
• Experience interviewing clients and gathering information is preferred.
• Ability to learn policy regulations is required.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility.
• Evaluate data to enter into eligibility system.
• Compute and authorize benefits based on eligibility.
• Process work per regulations and timelines.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
