Job summary

ASPIRE - North Shore is seeking an Early Intervention Developmental Specialist to deliver home and community-based services to birth-to-3 children. You will partner with families to address priorities identified by the family and work within a transdisciplinary team to support development in the North Shore area.

The role involves IFSP implementation, developmental assessments, and leading parent support activities in family-centered settings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field).
  • Knowledge of Infant/Toddler development stages.
  • Experience working with children 0–5 years.
  • Open-minded, culturally competent, and able to interact with families across cultures with diverse values and beliefs.
  • High level of professionalism and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable with home visiting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care for a caseload of children and implement the IFSP through case management and home visiting as part of a transdisciplinary team.
  • Utilize assessment tools to perform developmental evaluations informing IFSP outcomes.
  • Facilitate small group sessions supporting early social-emotional development and parent support.
