Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• Four years of full-time work experience in public administration (e.g., public sector clerical or managerial work, program oversight, auditing, or law enforcement).
• A total of four years of education and/or full-time experience may substitute for the required degree or experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the supervisor with daily team coordination and workflow efficiency.
• Serve as a key customer contact by answering questions, issuing licenses/IDs, and conducting drive tests.
• Apply expert knowledge of eligibility requirements, licensing standards, and REAL ID rules to verify identity and issue credentials.
• Administer and score all driving examinations (motorcycle, car, truck, passenger, and CDL pre-trip, skills, and road tests).
• Review state and federal records to determine issuance decisions and conduct required re-examinations.
• Assist and strengthen the team through training, mentoring, and sharing procedural expertise.

Education
