Job summary

ServiceSource, Inc. seeks an Employment Development Specialist to help transition youth and adults with disabilities into competitive employment.

The role focuses on community-based job development, intake assessments, and collaboration with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors across multiple locations in Delaware. The grant-funded position emphasizes building employer partnerships, delivering post-employment support, and ensuring program compliance through timely documentation and reporting,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in psychology or related field, plus 1 year of related experience working with adults with disabilities or a related population.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, Human Services or related field preferred.
• In lieu of an associate or bachelor's degree, candidate must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 3 years of experience in Human Services and working with individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and assessments to establish employment goals and develop person-centered employment plans.
• Provide job development services, including connecting individuals to training and educational resources.
• Provide post-employment services, including job coaching, follow-up support, and travel training.
• Build and maintain relationships with businesses, community agencies, internal departments, and external vendors.
• Accurately complete and submit monthly billing reports, participant records, and case notes.
