Job summary

ServiceSource Inc seeks an Employment Development Specialist to develop community employment for youth and adults with disabilities under a multi-year grant. The role emphasizes job development, post-employment support, and collaboration with Vocational Rehabilitation and community partners.

The position ends in early 2029 with opportunities to contribute to program objectives, improve employment outcomes, and sustain community partnerships across multiple sites in the state.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in psychology, Human Services or related field required (1 year of disability-related exp).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in psychology or Human Services.
• High School Diploma with 3+ years of human services experience acceptable.
• Minimum 1 year of supported employment or job coaching experience required.
• Experience building employer partnerships preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and travel to multiple locations required.
• Fluency in a second language (Spanish, ASL) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and assessments to set employment goals and create person-centered plans.
• Provide job development services and connect individuals to training resources.
• Deliver post-employment services including coaching and follow-up support.
• Build relationships with employers, community agencies, and vendors.
• Complete monthly billing reports and maintain participant records accurately.
