Job summary

ServiceSource, Inc. is seeking an Employment Development Specialist to design community employment opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities under a multi-year grant. The role focuses on job development, coaching, and post-employment support to promote placement in integrated settings.

The EDS will collaborate with Vocational Rehabilitation, employers, and service partners, conduct assessments, and track progress to ensure grant objectives are met. Travel across the state is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in psychology, Human Services or related field plus 1 year of related experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred; In lieu of degree, GED with 3 years of experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant supported employment, job development, job coaching, or vocational support experience required
• Must be available to travel to multiple locations across the state or affiliate coverage area
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Experience with TANF population preferred
• Marketing or sales skills preferred
• Case management and/or documentation knowledge preferred
• Fluency in a second language (Spanish, ASL) preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and assessments to establish employment goals and develop person-centered employment plans with referrals
• Provide job development services linking individuals to training and education resources
• Provide post-employment services including job coaching and follow-up support for retention
• Build and maintain relationships with businesses, community agencies, and vendors
• Accurately complete and submit monthly billing reports and participant records timely
• Conduct employer outreach and disability awareness training as needed
• Coordinate interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in annual support plan development
• Attend grant trainings and meetings and collaborate with TANF-related activities
• Collaborate with case managers and youth transition specialists to support families
• Meet with project leadership and team members to align grant objectives
• Seek opportunities to enhance knowledge of TANF systems and community resources
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
