Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. in Wilton, CT is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee the DDS Day program administration and ensure compliance with DDS rules.

You will supervise staff, process payroll documentation, and develop meaningful employment and life enrichment opportunities for individuals served. The role requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and leadership to work with developmentally disabled adults in structured settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Human Services or related field.
• Knowledge of DDS systems.
• Ability to interact with people with intellectual disabilities.
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage program operations.
• Complete schedule and transportation assignments.
• Communicate with residential supervisors, DDS case management, and parents/guardians.
• Schedule and attend mandatory DDS meetings in compliance with guidelines.
• Develop and maintain activities/employment for individuals served.
• Track, gather and prepare data for individual reports.
• Facilitate completion of all documentation related to individuals served.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and filed timely.
• Coordinate staff training on documentation.
• Track petty cash expenditures and payroll batches weekly.
• Collaborate with diverse staff to support program needs.
• Foster teamwork and implement productive work environment.
• Seek supervision when needed and meet with Supervisor weekly.
• Attend meetings and events as directed.
• Respond to crises calmly per supervisor directions.
• Review program rules and policies as needed.
• Ensure in-services are scheduled and completed efficiently.
• Adhere to CPM policies and procedures.
• Maintain offices, materials and vehicles weekly.
• Support daily documentation for individuals served.
• Respond to emergencies with a calm, reasoned approach.
• Report all serious incidents to Program Director.
