Job summary

Qualifications

• BA preferred or equivalent experience; minimum of three years of direct service with high-risk youth
• Experience with high-risk, multicultural, diverse youth
• Experience in basic construction, painting, and building maintenance
• Experience teaching and managing a classroom and small groups
• Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks timely and accurately
• Capacity to think strategically to help youth change behaviors
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Manage a work crew in alignment with CDC and state/local guidelines
• Explain process of obtaining and sustaining employment and workforce professionalism
• Use Roca's intervention model to influence and coach behavior change
• Conduct difficult conversations and hold crew accountable for performance
• Teach participants to sustain employment by role modelling best practices
• Maintain caseloads and adapt work activities based on business needs
• Enter accurate case notes in the ETO system daily
• Travel around service area as needed
• Work as part of a team
