Job summary

PBS Consulting & Psychological Resources PC is seeking a qualified vocational provider to deliver high‑quality job development and training support for a defined caseload. The role focuses on internships, transition planning for 14‑21 year olds, and collaboration with the behavioral team to address community needs.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong communication, and the ability to complete paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Rehab, Counseling, Psychology, Speech, Education, or related field.
• Talent/Interest in Community Bridge-Building.
• 40‑hour training certificate for RBT or BCBA preferred; on‑the‑job training possible.
• Fingerprint clearance as required by NYSED.

Responsibilities

• Develop internships, job training experiences, and social/recreational experiences based on the student’s interests.
• Facilitate person‑centered planning as part of a transition plan for students aged 14‑21.
• Develop skill acquisition plans with the behavioral support team to address needs in the community.
• Assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their support staff to find meaningful connections in their neighborhoods.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner (quarterlies, written plans).
• Perform other duties as needed for the Clinical Director to ensure smooth operations.
