Job summary

YOUNGWILLIAMS INC in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a dedicated Child Support Specialist to provide full services to customers at all stages of the child support process. The role requires interviewing customers to determine service needs and to identify the next step in case management.

You will ensure that State, Federal, and contractual timeframes are met for establishing and/or enforcing orders. Responsibilities include initiating locate procedures, obtaining and processing information,

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year related work experience preferred.
Experience in human services or child support preferred.
Familiarity with office environment and automated systems desired.

Responsibilities

Initiates locate procedures to identify customers’ addresses, employment, and assets.
Obtains and processes information necessary for establishing the order.
Conducts interviews with customers receiving and paying support.
Accesses system data to obtain relevant case information.
Prepares cases and necessary documents for review by staff attorney or supervisor.
Identifies remedies needed for enforcement of support orders.
Maintains confidentiality and security of case information.
Regular and timely attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
