Job summary

JOYOUS VENTURES LLC in Los Angeles is seeking a compassionate Case Manager to support justice-impacted individuals facing homelessness or housing instability. The Case Manager will provide essential services, coordinate resources, and assist participants in overcoming medical, mental health, and substance use barriers for long-term stability.

The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with individuals facing homelessness and must be comfortable addressing complex emotional and social needs. This position offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with people who experience homelessness and/or mental illness.
• Experience with the judicial system and/or homeless preferred.
• Have a California driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to determine participant needs.
• Develop and maintain Individual Service Plans.
• Connect participants to community-based services.
• Advocate for participant needs with healthcare providers.
• Document case notes and track participant progress.

Skills

Experience with people experiencing homelessness

Knowledge of harm reduction

Trauma-informed care

Motivational interviewing techniques

California driver's license

Education

Social Work/Mental Health related bachelor's degree
