Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Residential Coordinator to support the Behavioral Health Child/Adolescent Utilization Management Department by coordinating residential treatment admissions for members requiring out-of-home behavioral health residential services.

This role serves as a liaison among utilization management teams, residential providers, care management staff, and external stakeholders to ensure timely access to quality treatment settings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Arizona behavioral health system or related field.
• Proficient with Excel and electronic documentation systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% in Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residential treatment referrals and admissions for out-of-home behavioral health residential treatment across multiple levels of care.
• Identify most clinically appropriate participating residential treatment providers to support treatment goals.
• Manage the residential referral process, including distribution of referrals and documentation of facility activities.
• Collaborate with behavioral health homes, treating providers, and community partners to ensure timely submission of clinical information for facility reviews.
• Monitor referral status and facility timelines to promote timely access to care.
