Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Residential Coordinator to support the Behavioral Health Child/Adolescent Utilization Management department.

You will coordinate residential treatment admissions for members requiring out-of-home residential services and serve as a key liaison among utilization management teams, residential providers, care management staff, and external partners to ensure timely access to quality treatment settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Arizona behavioral health system or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% within Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residential treatment facility referrals and admissions for members in out-of-home behavioral health residential settings.
• Identify clinically appropriate participating residential treatment providers to support treatment goals.
• Manage the residential referral process, document referrals, and track provider responses.
• Collaborate with behavioral health homes, treating providers, and community partners for timely clinical information.
• Monitor referral status and facility timelines to promote timely access to care.
• Serve as a primary contact for residential treatment providers and internal stakeholders.
• Respond quickly to facility disruptions or changes by coordinating alternative options.
• Participate in utilization management rounds and interdisciplinary case reviews.
• Facilitate meetings with residential providers to improve outcomes and resolve barriers.
• Partner with Care Management, Utilization Management, and Quality Management to support coordinated care.
• Identify concerns and collaborate with leadership to address them.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and referrals in line with policies.
• Support departmental projects, reporting, and process improvements.
