Zusammenfassung

Access Services is seeking part-time Behavior Support Specialist Contractors to support our intellectual disability and autism programs. You will complete assessments, develop and update behavior support and crisis intervention plans, and train direct staff and caregivers to provide positive, least restrictive interventions across multiple service locations.

You’ll work with compassionate teams, align with our values, and schedule is flexible with weekend options based on caseload.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or autism.
• Clearances: PA Criminal History and Child Abuse Clearance results.
• Training: complete 13-hour ODP Functional Behavior Assessment Training and additional required trainings.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of behavior and identify function and environmental factors.
• Collaborate with participants, family, and service team to develop behavior support plans with positive practices.
• Develop individualized behavioral support plans aligned with service plans outcomes.
• Develop crisis intervention plans.
• Submit billable progress notes within 24 hours of service delivery.
• Conduct training sessions with the support team to ensure plan understanding and implementation.
• Participate in ongoing supervision and maintain consistent use of authorized hours.
• Conduct ongoing assessment and data collection to quantify behavior changes.
• Adjust interventions based on assessment results and data.
• Conduct functional behavioral assessments of presenting issues.
• Design restrictive plans per waiver and regulatory requirements using least restrictive interventions.
• Attend ISP and quarterly meetings regularly.
• Implement activities identified in the behavior support plan and provide coaching.
• Complete documentation related to data collection, progress reporting, and annual planning.
