Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with clients to help them reach developmental milestones and improve quality of life. The role offers hands-on experience in behavioral health, with opportunities for professional growth and potential BCBA supervision hours for qualifying candidates.

The position may include flexible part-time and full-time options in the Azusa, CA area, with competitive pay and paid training to ensure readiness from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred current college enrollment or completed some college coursework.
• Minimum 6 months experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Availability of 15+ hours during afternoons and evenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Criminal background check, TB tests, pre-employment physical/fit for duty, and immunity proof required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct implementation of ABA services under supervision.
• Collect data on goals during sessions as per treatment plan.
• Work in home, community, school, clinic or other locations with individuals with autism or related disabilities.
• Address problem behaviors using positive behavior support techniques.
• Assist with caregiver support and training as needed.
• Arrive on time for sessions and end sessions punctually.
• Submit timecards and clinical notes per company policy.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and BCBAs.
• Follow ethical standards and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Assist with new hire training through overlaps and shadowing.

Education

Currently enrolled in college or has completed some college coursework
