Job summary

Lighthouse seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. The role focuses on building communication, social, and behavioral skills in a supportive setting, with data-driven progress tracking and regular parent updates.

Ideal candidates are patient, empathetic, and detail-oriented, capable of adapting to each client’s needs and schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• ABA experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under BCBA supervision.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship to promote independence.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress.
• Collaborate with BCBA and interdisciplinary team to review progress and adjust plans.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers about goals, progress and generalization strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and data.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
